Family Adventure package
Enjoy this great package where you can participate in one of the most spectacular natural process of green sea turtles laying their eggs in Tortuguero beach. This packages brings the combination of two of the best things to do in Tortuguero, the visit to the amazing channels, rives, lagoons and creeks and the turtles nesting going from July to October. The package included the following activities.
Activity # 1 Turtle Nesting
Visit the Tortuguero National Park beach at night where we can observe the natural process of laying the eggs. We pick you up in your hotel or in our meeting location found in the Tortuguero Main Boat Area in Tortuguero Village. Then we will either walk or take a boat depending on the available sector the National Park tells assigns. Once we arrive to the sector we must visit, we will follow the strict rules established by the person in charge. We must wear all dark colors to avoid any disturbance in the beach to the turtle, if it is not possible because you are not carrying, please put on a ponchos, jacket, coat or any similar to avoid being rejected from the beach. When we finished we will take you back to the hotel or meeting location by walking or by boat are done before.

What to bring?
No technology on the beach, only the guide with a red flashlight to observe the process.
The turtle process is natural. We could observe the whole process. Sometimes we only observe when they go to the sea. The processes: Climbing, making the nest, making the camera, covering the camera, camouflage the nest, going to the water.

Activity # 2 Discovering Tour
In the discovery tour we visit different areas in the National Park and in the outskirts. We combine this activity from a boat tour and a hike in the Tortuguero Hill. You can take a look at the native village of San Francisco. By combining the boat tour and hike you can get the best of the channels and rivers and the best from the ground jungle tropical forest. We will pick you up in your hotel or meeting location and then start the adventure. We enter the National Park, we make the tour we look for animals like; Monkeys, Caimans, Crocodiles, Iguanas, Toucans, Anhingas, Herons, Otters, snakes, Sloths,
Hawks, etc. After 2, 3, hours in Boat We will go for a walk on the trail which is close to the river-mouth. We walk along the path of the Hill looking for animals and talking about Plants. It has steps to make it easier to go up and down. Then a short pass through the town of San Francisco.
