Cancelation policies & Payments
We appreciate your interest for Tortuguero Native Tours, it is very important for us that you read our policies and term at the moment of your reservation.Tortuguero Native Tours is committed to offer a personal customer service, based on needs and interest, therefore, the right preparation and planning of your trip takes a right description of your itinerary for us to fulfill your interest and desires.
- In case of voluntary no-show, there will be no refund. For cancelation read our terms and percentages.
- All reservation requests will be confirmed as soon as possible within 48 business hours. Once we receive the reservation, we will confirm check and confirm based on our availability. Some reservations will required full or partial payment.
- You can pay through PayPal which is also a safe and easy way to pay online. All you need is an email address to make your secure online payments using a debit card, credit card, bank account or PayPal balance by registering on your www.paypal.com page. In this way, your financial details are stored securely on your servers and you will not have to share them with the person who receives or sends the money, or reveal your data on the Internet or in public.
- If the tour operator does not get the minimum amount of people to operate the tour, Tortuguero Native Tour Guide will be forced to cancel the tour and book it for another day, or modify it for another tour in that area. If the customer does not wish to select another tour, we will proceed with a full refund.
- All reservations and cancellations must be made via email.
- Cancellations due to medical situations/illnesses or disability will only be refunded if they are made 22 days prior to the reservation, and must be supported with documentation. In this case, we will proceed giving the customer a full refund or note of credit for the services already paid.
- Tortuguero Native Tour Guide cannot accept any responsibility, or pay any compensation when the services are unavailable due to wars, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism, weather or adverse situations beyond the control of Costa Rica Natural Tours
- When customers visit National Parks, biological reserves, or places for adventures, we assume that the customer is in good physical condition. If the client has health problems or physical limitations of any kind, it is important that you let us know at the time of the booking.
- Penalties for cancelations and refunds. There is no penalty for those reservations if cancelation are made before 22 days prior the time of the selected service, for cancelations after this time penalties happens as follow. 70% from 21 days to 12 days before arrival or time of selected service, 50% from 11 days to 9 days prior arrival or time of selected service. 20% from 8 days to 5 days prior arrival or time of selected service and there is no refund for cancelations made from 4 days before the arrival or time of selected service.
- For some services and groups some inicial payment is required, the operator will make the request when he considers it is necessary.
- Nature is unpredictable and we do not guarantee the observation of flora and fauna, we will do our very best to find as many animals as we can. Weather is very tropical so we do not take responsibility on damaged devices due to water or humidity, bring your dry bag to avoid this from happening. We do not refund on such happening.
- Your belongings are your responsibility, take care of them because in Tortuguero Native tour we do not get responsibility of your personal items.
- If you are not satisfied by our service, please let us know immediately, we will take action on them promptly. Further complaints after the use oe of our services are not due to money refunds.
- If you have health problems of any sort, special food requirements, it is mandatory to notify us at the moments of bookings.
