We are a Native Tour Guide Team from Tortuguero Village and in this section we would like to introduce ourselves and let you know a little bit of our work, our native village and our life.

Our life in Tortuguero
We were all born and grown up in Tortuguero. During our childhood we went to the school and after classes we went to enjoy and play in the jungle, climbing trees, picking up fruits and visiting the beach. We also took the canoes and kayaks to go fishing and get some fresh fish for our homes. We had great time sharing in the channels fishing or spotting wildlife. We also play soccer in the village field. Tortuguero is a great place where we enjoy naturally and always in touch with nature. From this childhood I keep great memories from every single place we played and visit in my beloved Tortuguero.
Becoming Guides
Most of us started at around 11 years old in guiding in our canoes, taking visitors to the National Park channels. We really started to fall in love with this, I continue studying to be specialized in guiding. We studied in ICT (Costa Rica Tourism Chamber) and got a certified license. We all love to be a guides, biology and love to be in the jungle because we grew up here. We feel very comfortable sharing our experience and knowledge with visitors. We love to give always the best from us for you to have a great experience in Tortuguero and in every single narrow and small creeks and corner of the jungle that we visit you will get the best from us.
